The vast majority of the time that i see "..." it means more detail. I have NEVER seen it used as an options or setup button with the exception of some installers where "..." is next to filepath entries and means to manually select the filepath. Options or setup buttons are usually either a gear...

Please, show me where this install location option is. Read my reply to nuno. I am talking about the launcher itself not modpacks.

You are probably also the kind of person who like having a slow computer full of crap programs thrown wherever the hell they please. I on the other hand like to take care of my computer and keep it tidy and want to install things where i want them and that is not in a hidden appdata folder...

I had no express install or anything, i run the exe file and get a screen that says "cancel" and "install" nothing more, nothing less. When i press install it just installs it in appdata. There is no "express" option at all. I am not an idiot, i know what i am doing and i know the difference...

Would have been nice to tell it where to install instead of it just dumping itself in appdata. Wish it was just a mod manager like it should have been and not have a bunch of other junk i don't care for tacked on. Don't need YET ANOTHER voice chat program or YET ANOTHER friends list or YET...

Tinker's Construct Question: Flux vs Mossy

I like to use moss on things like shovels and axes and swords which don't get really heavy use. I use flux on pickaxes and hammers. The only exception is early on i use moss on my pick before i get a good power setup going.

Direwolf20 1.7.10 Help, Venting and Discussion Thread

It might, if i remember correctly Direwolf used Steve's Factory Manager to pull wands out of the Arcane Worktable during his last server play season.

Bad lag in the new direwolf20 1.7.10 pack.

Pretty sure it acts that way by default, at least it does for me. The only setting that involves the launcher window itself is the one to open it again when you exit minecraft but i am pretty sure that is turned off by default.

Direwolf20 1.7.10 Help, Venting and Discussion Thread

Read the op for this thread. http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/direwolf20-1-7-10-released.53915/ Give Minecraft no more than 4gb. But the problem is just about every mod in the pack is either alpha/beta or riddled with bugs. The pack is not ready for primetime yet.

MFR Tree Farm -> Fps Drop

I noticed MFR tree farms being super laggy as well, i have since switched to Ender io farms for both trees and crops, only problem with them is making sure i have backup axes and hoes ready to get sent into the farms when they run out. One of the Ender io's bonuses is not having to deal with the...

    Poll: RFTools Dimension Builder Penalties

You should make a blank void age cost nothing but make each dimlet have a power cost tied to it so the more you add the more it costs to keep up, (or create) more advanced dimlets would cost more energy than more basic dimlets and you could add power multipliers for using multiple advanced...

1.0.2: Extra Utilities - Ender Quarry scans 0 blocks

Works fine for me, have run mine twice so far, once with fences and second time with markers, first time i powered it with an energy cell and second time i powered it with a tesseract. Are you sure it is actually getting power? Also the "scanned" blocks are pretty much the number of blocks it...

    1.0.1: MFR machine stop working.

Noticed this with a grinder i have setup in my blood magic alter mob farm drop slot for when im not sacrificing them and notice it not killing stuff fairly often. The idle bar keeps counting down to 1 then jumping back to 10/200 T, every now and then it will hit something. It isn't a jamming...

Direwolf20 1.7.10 Help, Venting and Discussion Thread

So far the server thing is helping, only thing i really want to look out for is if after an hour or so of straight play if the game crashes on me like singleplayer did, if it doesn't than something is definitely broken with singleplayer in 1.7.10. Edit: Well just crashed so running a server...

Direwolf20 1.7.10 Help, Venting and Discussion Thread

Think i am going to do this, i used to do this with previous versions incase any of my friends decided they wanted to play with me (they never did) so didn't bother with it this time. That might actually be why i have so many performance issues with this version.

1.0.2: Tconstruct paper tool rod w/flux capacitor

No idea, the only non "mods" i put on the gear have been moss for repair, the ninja one and featherfall. Never bothered with the others since by the time i would be able to get the stuff like the potions i already upgraded the armor, that and i have never gotten into potion making. Several...

1.0.2: Tconstruct paper tool rod w/flux capacitor

Worked fine in a world i started in 1.0.1 and a world i made in 1.0.2. Either you are doing something wrong that you aren't saying or you are getting some bizarre bug that no one else seems to have.

1.0.2: Tconstruct paper tool rod w/flux capacitor

You are probably out of mod slots, stealth does indeed work as that was the only one i put on mine. Do it in a regular crafting bench, it is either a typo or the forge needs to be updated to support the gear.

1.0.2: Tconstruct paper tool rod w/flux capacitor

Look inside the first tinkers book, the armor has it's own mods, none of the tool mods work on the armor. As for repairing, i have no idea i have just tossed moss on it all and not have to worry about it. An easy way to get mossy stone early on if you cant find a dungeon is to craft a bucket of...

1.0.2: Tconstruct paper tool rod w/flux capacitor

I have an alumite shovel with the glove fully upped with redstone and digging up deserts is hilariously fast. I am so glad he added the glove since redstone is used alot and using multiple stacks on every tool is tough. Also to everyone in the thread, check out the new tinkers clothing as well...
