    All enchantments on Zephyr (Thaumcraft)

You can't have both Repair and Unbreaking on the same sword, and Smite, Sharpness, and Disjunction are similarly exclusive. I don't think it really matters what order you put the enchantments on aside from that, though.

    Best Early Power Gen

Technically, yes, but building dedicated accumulators for each engine is much fussier than just dumping some buckets of water in every half hour or so. Much of the early game for me is a rush to get hardened glass so I can make an energy cell, liquiducts, and conduits and start putting together...

    Best Early Power Gen

I start out with a few hobbyist steam engines or TE steam engines. Which one I go with is primarily determined by whether a desert is nearby or not. If I have easy access to cactus, I'll use it to make waterproof pipes to supply TE steam engines with water from an aqueous accumulator. If no...

Minor suggestion: Rubber tree saplings in bonus chest

The twilight forest has tons of them in its swamps - I usually just go there for rubber trees if there aren't any near my spawn.

So, whats the best way to harvest a wheat field this size?

SC would work, but you'd need 2000+ tracks to cover it all, and you'd likely need multiple carts, cargo managers, and cargo distributors. If you use golems, you'll need ~400 wood golems and maybe half that number of straw golems. That said, why spread out like that? Wheat farms stack on top...

    Ender Chest on Servers

Out of curiosity, and since I haven't tried it, can ender pouches link up with a private ender chest? I like storing my rarely-used tools in an ender pouch on my SSP world in case I fall into lava or can't reach my body when I die, but that loses some of it's attractiveness in SMP if everyone...

    Show yours builds off

Yeah, you could actually do this all with just a few blocks. Put an igneous extruder on top of the recycler, then put a Xycraft fabricator set to make scrapboxes next to the recycler, and then use a clay golem to pull scrapboxes out of the fabricator and put them in a deployer on a timer. You...

    Biomass/Automatic Tree Farm Setup

Use the Treealyzer on a vanilla oak sapling, and you'll get a forestry apple oak sapling.

    Biomass/Automatic Tree Farm Setup

Golems would work just fine. And you'd get bonus points for using them, because golems make everything better. Extra credit if the golems have little fezzes.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Sure. Bring a bunch of stacks of cobble and a wand of equal trade. Or go nuts with a mining laser.

    Gregtech Quarry

An industrial blast furnace is probably your first big hurdle in GregTech, but it isn't terribly expenisve, compared to something like a high-pressure boiler. I recommend going straight for 34 advanced casings, rather than starting with the basic casings. You can use a railcraft blast furnace to...

    Tesseracts and Steam

So, I know that steam is compressible in liquiducts, but does that compressibility transfer over into tesseracts? In other words, can I stick a tesseract surrounded by eight liquiducts on top of my boiler, then transport the steam elsewhere for the actual MJ production?

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

The power core of my base started out as a thought experiment in figuring out exactly how many MJ I could squeeze out of as small of a space as possible. A liquid tesseract in the middle of the core provides lava to 40 Magmatic Engines feeding eight redstone energy cells and two energy...

Optimum Steve's Carts Tree Farm Size

Out of curiosity, has anyone done any work on determining the size of farm that keeps the cart busy as much as possible while maximizing the amount of time it spends running on its solar engine?

    Feed the City [Ultimate Pack][1.4.6][Whitelist][Survival][Filmed]

IGN: CodaPDX Position: Aesthetic Grunt Skills: I'm a pretty solid technical builder - I can do everything from the typical railcraft boiler fueled by a Steve's Carts tree farm to an RP tunnel bore, I'm pretty comfortable with all but the highest level of the Gregtech tech tree, and I have a...

    Gregtech-centric progression advice?

For IC2 power, I usually start out with a generator and batbox powering a macerator, compressor, and extractor, with the plan of upgrading the generator to a geothermal and replacing the batbox with an MFE (the batbox can go into a jetpack). I then turn the geothermal generator into a thermal...

In SSP, how much do you cheat?

I cheat full buckets sometimes when it saves me the trouble of going back and forth a few times, but then I delete the empty ones when I'm done. I also have been known to cheat in a screwdriver when I forgot my tool bag and am feeling lazy.

    cows

If you're after the leather and not just books, then the twilight forest still isn't a bad place to look. There's plenty of deer around that drop leather just like cows.

    Question regarding crystal clusters

One vis every five minutes? Wow, that's...unimpressive. So to support a full-tilt infernal furnace (which seems to drain ~ 1 vis per second) I'd need something on the order of 300 of them?

    Question regarding crystal clusters

Does anyone know the exact mechanics behind crystal clusters? I'd like to use a pair of infernal furnaces in my automated ore processing system, but my earlier experimentation along those lines ended up completely depleting the aura in just about every chunk within a kilometer of my base. If I...
