    which gameversion/modpack? Is Java 7 installed and did you try to completly remove ftb from your pc and reinstalling? After that, could you start the game, close, delete log and then start the game again. If the error occurs again, you simply post the new log of this session :)

    The server.properties file is what you search. More RAM is allocated by changing the start script. Friends need your IP (hamachi IP) + be in the same hamachi network as you.
