The aura nodes won't respawn in chunks that are already rendered (like ores) they get rendered at the moment the sever generates the chunk. You should get auranodes when you travel far away from your current know chunks

Read what Dekar writes, reinstalling the mods won't work. You need to manual delete that file in your worldsfolder (or delete the whole worldfolder and start from 0)

There are programs that allow editing of worldfiles, although i never like those. If you have direct acces to the worldsaves you could download them and install them on your localmachine and try if you can fix them in single player. If you can fix it you can just reupload them to the server...
