I'm kind on the opposite side to be honest, after playing with mods for about six months, I'm kind of interested in playing vanilla again. Surely there's a lot less things to do in vanilla but I have some challenges in mind to do.

I strongly suggest the inclusion of the Barrels Mod into those modpacks that don't have Factorization. It essentially implements the barrels with a different recipe. The mod is already in the spreadsheet, I hope for it to be included.

I don't play with RP but I generally am all down for nuking mods that cannot keep up to date. I mean how much can people wait for a single mod to be updated, especially when others mods get updated and add new stuff... Well there are differences and similarities and personally I can't see a way to keep everything balanced (since balanced is ridiculously subjective). You have the BC quarry right? And you have the TC Bore. Both of them do the same thing BUT the quarry is available pretty early in the game...

Yes, they haven't been added and it doesn't seem it will change sometime soon. Your best bet is to either add it yourself or play with Direwolf's pack and just remove mods to suit the Magic Pack.

If you want to expand on an existing mod, I believe you either have to work on the mod's source code (open source) or work on the mod's API so you can make an addon. In the first case you expand the mod itself whereas in the second you make something new which works for the specific mod. I...
