Favorite FTB Pack?

I've been away from FTB and Minecraft in general for awhile so I havent played with ultimate yet. It does look awesome though because it has pretty much everything.
 
If I'm allowed to say a custom pack based off FTB Ultimate, then I choose the AdvancingCraft pack. If I can't say that, then Ultimate it is.
 
Direwolf20, it is pretty much exactly what I want (especially that AE is now in there) Direwolf20 has been playing with a lot of mods for a long time and I trust his choiced in what mods he wants
 
Ultimate. Just seems to have the most. Would be nice to see TechWorld (kind of obsolete compared to Ampz and Mindcrack) and MagicWorld get some love. :/

Yeah, especially Magic World is... well useless. Every mod of MW is included in Direwolf's pack and it doesn't have Thaumic Bees, one might as well play with Direwolf's and just remove some tech mods if they want strictly magic. Techworld I guess is good for computers that can't handle the Ultimate pack.

With that being said, I'm not playing FTB really, created my own modpack. But if they add more stuff to Magic World, that's what I'll roll with.

I'm not really happy with any of them. They don't make one I want.

Ultimate comes closest, but IC2 and GT are just... dated. Fuddy duddies. Old. Boring. Uninspired, even.
 
I like whichever one has the most mods, since I can just disable the ones I don't like.

Waiting on TFC pack though. Always wanted to play it but like a lot of other people, I use FTB because I suck at mod installation because I don't know what to do.

May I dare suggest you use the Technic Launcher and download it from the Technic website. There's a custom pack for TFC.

Good input guys! I've been playing with Ultimate and I must say I like it so far. I've always been a fan of the Direwolf20 pack though.

Ultimate is for people who like a lot of things and have a lot of time to play (especially w/ GT hard mode)
Mindcrack if kind of hard but when you think of Mindcrack you think of the server therefore kind of mess around
DW20 pack is easy and for people who want to play with mods but not have to worry about AFKing, etc.
 
My favorite is Ultimate, but I modified it quite a bit. The problem is that all packs have mods I like and ones I don't like. I had hopes that the Tech pack would offer everything I want (because I prefer tech mods), but it doesn't by a long shot (a tech pack without TE? no thanks. And I want AE and Powersuits!).

So yeah, basically I tossed out all the magic related stuff, some other mods I just consider OP and some mods that simply don't catch my interest at all. I also added a few mods like some BC pipes and Liquid Metals. So all in all it's pretty far from Ultimate I would say.
