    I ran my railcraft boilers with alumentum, as long as it has a burn value it works I think? I assumed you prioritized automation over efficiency but wasn't completely sure, yeah lava would be a good solution too.

    Wouldn't a 1x2 railcraft LP boiler be a good choice? It heats up very quickly, is automatable. It does produce 10mb of steam per tick which might be a bit too much, but automation based on drum content was possible, yes? If a better boiler setup was what you sought then this might be handy.

    The batteries aren't viable since I wanted to fuel steam locomotives. I run a distillery for lubricant, how would I go about automating the brewing machine? Afaik it requires talk or redstone, which might be a bit difficult to supply easily? I used golems + fir before to automate the pyrolyse...

    Hmm, that sounds interesting. Any chance this is available with gregtech refining, that is those alternatives since I am drowning in nitro-diesel, and pretty much voiding extra methane and LPG.

    How do you fix when carts bug out? Like you cannot target them, it is driving me insane. Sometimes carts just don't exist and act really strangely, which really makes it difficult to work with them. The only solution I've found is creative and spam destroy blocks around it until they disappear...

    Use 2x transfer nodes with hyper-rationing pipes on all the reactors, works fine for me. I then use round robin + speed downgrade from the output to split cells evenly between chest and hydrogen canner.     Sulfuric acid will also used in the creation of I-tnt/tnt from oil, so it is important to not use up all of the sulfuric acid. LPG is also used for materials, so guess I cannot use it all up. I use nitro-diesel for the entire setup and I still manage with a hefty bonus, even without proper usage...

    I just finished mine, and I haven't really found a dire use for the cracking unit, although I use raw oil for processing. Might I say you're gonna work for quite some time, blood made a good job with making it interesting.

    Is there any way to easily distribute cells with a ratio(for oil production) in a small space? Right now I just crafted like 200+ cells for oil production just to ensure correct distribution, while it might work seems a bit clunky to use.

    Yes, that was my predicament. For the mean-time I just use MFSU's as buffers for the reactors, although guess they are now disabled so it's not really a good solution :P

    I cannot seem to get energy out of my reactor using only GT transformers(it is full size). If I use an MFSU between the reactor and the transformers it works fine, but only transformers does not work. I use one normal(2048->512) and then 512->2048 to output to my battery buffer. Is there a...

    What version of optifine are you using? I downloaded A4 non-HD and I consistantly crash due to updating screen events.

    Ah jeez I am stupid, used an MFE to gauge power output and for some reason I assumed it was a requirement, man that saves a bit of resources.
