Here's you first problem. You've *looked* at it. Have you tried them? Have you tried to create a balanced maintenance free system with them? No. Try it some time, it ain't a GT fusion reactor, but it's not as easy as you seem to think. A SC tree farm is a hell of a lot easier to fire and forget...

Power Converter charge pad is the device you are looking for. Pump your MJ into an energy bridge and stick a charge pad on it. Will charge your MPS, as well as your IC2 items. If you put a chest adjacent to it, it will charge anything in the chest.

This was the stuff that made gregtech interesting enough to deal with in the first place. Though if you hate the grind you might want to try the "Easy Mode Configs"

Yeah, the tin bucket thing is because of a ic2/red power exploit. Make a tin bucket, put said bucket in alloy furnace, receive iron.

There are three "nerfs" that I am aware of that cannot be "un-nerfed", Tin-buckets, scaffolding, and forestry bronze, everything else can be reverted to the IC2 defaults.

Just curious, how is the blaze rod exploit EE3's fault? I have yet to hear a convincing explination for why EE3 always gets blamed for this. All the EE3 recipe does is reverse the Vanilla recipe allowing you to get a blaze rod from 2 blaze powders. It'd be far more reasonable to blame the mods...

Usually, I just missed the post about scaffolds. Though what I said does apply to the rolling machine/plate machine change. And seeing as this thread will probably degenerate in to *yet* another gregtech flamewar/hatefest, that's the last I'll say about it.

You can't un-nerf gregtechs changes to gregtech. you can still force gregtech back to the ic2 default. Greg wan't you to use his plate machine instead of the rolling machine...

According to Gregtechs change log v2.90h is beta Unless those words don't mean what they say.

I watched the same videos as well, and did the same thing. The least I could do is help.
