You need a Conductor (I think its called that) in the middle. Also put a charge focus or 2 in it or it will "overheat".

Try copying the Minecraft folder to dekstop and run there (you have write rights there). Where did you install FTB (do you have full rights in that folder)? What OS, 32 or 64bit? You can disable antivirus(whant antivirus program you have?) for few minutes to try running Minecraft and seeing if...

It looks like some other program is accessing the files and thus Windows locks em and your MC client cant write to them. Maybe your antivirus is scanning them? Did your client crash before and maybe got left running background still world open? Do you have write rights to the Minecraft folder?

Did you build right on the spawn point? By default, there is block protection on that area, size is configurable in server.properties file. Google "spawn-protection" for more details...

Im running MC set using max 2Gb of memory (my system has 8Gb), without any problems! Giving too much memory is also bad thing, try lowering it to 2Gb. Also, do you have 32-bit or 64-bit OS?
