First update your Java, log says you are using 1.6, so get atleast 1.7. Would be nice to know what modpack are you even trying to use? Have you added more mods on it? And 1Gb memory probably aint enough also, up that to 3-4 Gb. Also add "XX:MaxPermSize=256m" on arguments when launching the game.

Dont think so, those parts got corrupted and thus not showing chunk at all (also mod blocks are problem in MCedit, so it might loose some). I recommend making regular backups, only way to be sure you get all back. If you have server, there are mods that can make regular backups in time interval...
