    Two words... Steam Boiler! start making the logs into charcoal, or even the thaumcraft coalish thing direwolf20 used and get even more power out of it.

    Why not just make strong boxes for holding your stuff? it will keep others out, and you can always make them bigger later on.

    Bees, quarry, ender quarry, the thaumcraft miner thing, the MFR drill thing, or just a hammer and pick with fortune 3 on both.

    Edited:Jailor net from MFR. I don't know if those work on Pechs but you could give it a try. One thing I can think of is once you find it stuck just place a sponge from open blocks to stop the water/Lava/whatever it is stuck on.

    Have you added anything into the mod pack. I have been doing some digging and there is nothing in the pack that would change the skin.
