What I was thinking with it was use the remote orderer to send the item you want from the storage into the cart, and then the cart would be used to take to anywhere you need in the base, that way you would only need a very small bit of the logistics pipes to run things.

Well if you do Logistics Pipes you could set up the pipes to feed into the item loader (Or whatever it is called.) and then just send the cart along for pick up.

I think he means a set up for if an item is requested then the cart would go pick it up and bring it to you.

Just going to say this, Back when I would still use AE I would set things up to do things on there own to the point of getting a bit lazy with it, and I really started to miss filling chest after chest with with lots and lots of items, before AE I would make massive buildings just for storage...

I would use it for a lot more then just setting up drives and things, that was just an example.

Then I guess I'm a Nerd. :P

If you ask me logipipes is better for accessing your items from any point, and AE is a cool mod, but one thing that I really always found cool about minecraft was being able to have massive rooms of things to sort things into chests/barrels and things for storage, and I just don't see much fun...

That sounds cool, and if you wanted to do something really big with it you could make a sorting roller coaster and also use it to get around you base. :D

I have been playing with a lot of mods, and started thinking about sorting and storage. For a long time I would just use AE for storage, but after a while I was like what is the point in keeping like everything you have in like three blocks? I really like building big sorting systems and things...

Find something hard to craft and make a factory for it in the hardest, and slowest (And most fun.) way you can think of, and remember to post pics once you are done. :)

What pack are you playing? also do you mean like just endlessly use RF without you doing anything?

this is really the best thing that I can think of, other then watching Direwolf do his thing you can ask about anything else you don't understand.

I learned that a healing spell from AM2 is like the best thing ever when you are doing blood magic. Edit: I also learned that I could use MFFS to more or less copy and paste walls and towers for the castle that I am planning to build. :D

I learned about minecraft from the yogscast and when they did FTB for a bit I started too on Yogcraft, but then I saw the 1.4.7 direwolf20 and thought "Who is direwolf20?" and after that I started with direwolf and a lot of other packs.

This or if you are okay with slow it being slow then reusable net from MFR for one at a time.

Ic2 solar+ MFR lava Fab+ Lava Dynamos= not needing to change the power set up. With that it isn't the best setup for one power to the other, but you don't need to change it to get EU to change to freeish RF
