In the Metallurgy3 folder, it has 9 config files. Each one has world gen options for different parts of its ore gen. All you should have to do is just edit these options. As far as adding ores to the list, I don't believe it is possible without using COFH. Remember you don't need Thermal Expansion to use COFH core.

In cofh could I add more custom sections to the config?
