Well, if it is not hardware-related then it must be something going on in game. For the is REALLY recommend getting Tickthreading. Not only will it mulithread FTB but it is a good profiling tool.

I know that I am fine with RAM since 16GB is way more than enough for a FTB server. My main concern I guess is that i5 processor. I am a little worried that it will not have enough power for FTB. (Keep in mind that my server is multithreaded)

I would suggest upgrading the RAM, not to super large amounts as that is not needed. As your server gets larger both more RAM and CPU will be needed, although the case for most large servers ends up being that the CPU power is more of a problem since RAM usage stablilzes.

This isn't the best way to do it but you could make it to where they can place the table but not break it. They would have to ask an admin to break it. As I said, it isn't the most player-friendly way of fixing it, but it is a good solution if you can't code or know someone that can.
