Weird, it works for me. It shows a portal was made on the indicator for a split second before disappearing.

Is it recommended to just nuke the mods folder and drag the new one over, or do you recommend nuking the config folder too and dragging the new one over? Seems like it would get a little tedious having to configure your settings everytime if you had to blow out your config files. I assume...

You can directly download the server files, which I think could be used for your client... but it'll require a little bit of moving work on your side. (Link deleted)

v6 definitely fixed alot / most of the lag issues I was experiencing - so one of the mods must have solved it.

What shaders you rolling with?

I have that issue too, except it doesn't appear to do anything.

When FTB updates, it clears out your folders which wipes the sound files - Minecraft automatically downloads these again overtime so you're without sound until they all redownload :)

Answered my own question.. For anyone wondering, you can disable it via the portalgun config in the WORLD folder, not the config folder!

In the new version of Portal Gun mod, the config is vastly different. Does anyone know how to disable the Moon portals? I don't see it documented.

I have to agree, I hope more testing goes into the new ModPack updates in the future. I took a backup of course, but it's still unnecessary burden and confusion on users end. I appreciate everyone at the FTB team and hope these issues are better handled in the future. Thanks for your time.

Make sure your using a map / config prior to v5, v5 probably messed stuff up.

Did they just pull the v5 update for MindCrack? It went back down to v4 in my launcher but i still have everything from v5.

It's actually annoying that they don't put a changelog up before the download goes live, I have no idea what configs/mods have changed serverside so I don't know what I should cherry-update.

Thanks for everyone's feedback I have removed Reis Minimap, everything voxel related, liteloader and basically anything that wasn't necessary to login to the server I play. I cannot get away with removing thaumcraft because I am playing / experiencing these issues on a SMP server - therefore...
