I personally have had no problems with running FTB in Win 8 and I actually get better stress scores across the board on windows 8 , granted only slightly better than Win 7 but still better. The interface was a bit clunky at first but once i got used to it seems strange to be on a win 7 machine...

The code isnt broken, you have just been unlucky. I have cut down 30 odd tree and gotten 4 saplings, just kind of seems random really.

I just took the portal gun mod out completely with it needing a neather star it makes to "late game" to actually need it. By the time you can kill the wither for a NS you can easily get most of the same effect with mystcraft and a portal age.

I found it after about 30 ages but that seems pretty lucky , most people have had to do alot more ages than i did.

for the gui backrounds i use the one from the isabella texture pack they are nice and almost match the JS textures

Yea I also use the JS backrounds has most of the mod supported and only takes about 5 min to move the files over. They also seem to fit the texture style well.

I don't understand why some people are complaing about a texture pack someone took the time to put together for others to use , if you don't agree with something about the pack just don't use it. I for one think you for taking the time to put this together OP.

I don't know why everyone is waiting for the pack to be updated , just do it yourself , it is very easy to put a pack together will all the currently updated mods (took around 20 min including config tweaks) and then you can just play the available mods now. I personally am not waiting for the...
