Well you cant really automate a lot of stuff without them. Frames, block breakers, deployers, bundled cables, and pneumatic tubes, there are no good replacements for thoseI would not want to play without builcraft, thermal expansion, ic2, rp2, wireless redstone or AE. They are simply not replaceable

Yeah, one thing I liked about tekkit was unity, when someone was playing tekkit you knew the exact set of mods they were playing and could easily play along with them, with FTB there are so many pointless packs that are almost identical or just useless.

I don't know why the yogscast couldn't have gone with an already existing pack like direwolf or ultimate. Or why they couldn't at least add some other unique mods like UE to make it interesting
