    The hint is a good change, but the lapis cost (which might not be that high but is still something) and this seed locking feel a bit annoying, even though I haven't cared enough about snapshots to try it out yet. Needing to enchant something else because you got a bad seed just adds another step...

    You could also try Dartcraft! And then cry yourself to death when you make a Fortune IV pickaxe in less than a few hours. Personally, I feel that if anything is wrong here, it's the RNG roulette called the vanilla enchanting system (which will only get worse in 1.8 because results are locked...

    Doesn't Logistic Pipes have a mod-based module? Just place one of those, set to GeoStrata, on a pipe connected to a trash can.     Reminder that it needs to be a VANILLA Ender Chest, which you can't place down if EnderStorage's config isn't set properly (I don't remember if it allows placing them by default on FTB, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't).

    Try using the numbers present there as an example, I believe iron ore would be the most similar.

    I don't think anyone posted MultiMC doing another great thing here yet. This could be really amazing once 1.8 comes out / 1.7 stops being buggy and gets updated / some kind of universal configs that change IDs and have default everything else are added to this idea for 1.6 as well.

    That's why you use one thaumium piece, one obsidian piece, and two paper pieces. In the case of a lumber axe, doing axe head/large plate out of either obsidian/thaumium would give you a bit more speed than what you would get if you made a paper large plate.

    Silk Touch & pulverizing VS Fortune

    EnderIO's SAG Mill also gives you 3 coal and a decent chance of pulverized coal per ore, and 2 nether quartz + 1 dust per nether quartz ore. The only normal ore that doesn't benefit from silk touch and machines is lapis.

    You don't need that many sewers, just place one in the middle and give it a 1 range upgrade.

    You could do nearly the same while using slightly less Ichor by using a 1x1 planter+harvester+fertilizer+tree with old bone meal mechanics setup.
