There is a mod that should be taken in consideration

That would kind of ruin (one of) the point(s) of Forbidden Magic, though. Here you have this integration mod, to integrate one thing to itself. What.

    Is "Blood Magic" Overpowered?

Well, you're creating a monster highly known for exploding everything right outside your base then saying that it's too hard. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with that sentence. Anyway, in vanilla (or any environment without flat bedrock) you can trap the Wither in bedrock in the Nether ceiling...

    Is "Blood Magic" Overpowered?

Quoting this post because I also believe this could be the best way to rebalance the well of suffering, without adding new complex mechanics that would eventually get circumvented by clever ideas anyway. However, monsters exploding into masses of blood right away might not be as cool as them...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

For a second I read that as Thaumic Integration. :( I doubt that one will get a release for 1.6.

    FTB Monster - emashers Limestone

If you've looked in the configs and it's turned off, it's likely because it's turned off. Well. Just turn it on, since you have server access. The same problem happens with Mekanism, last time I checked the default universal configs had generation for its main ore (Osmium) turned off, which...

    Nether changes... ridiculous!

And hopefully there will be End Ores as well in the future, which randomly teleport you when mined.

    Nether changes... ridiculous!

Originally it only added special ores that exploded and made pigmen angry because, you know, they were valuable, so it does count as "adding stuff". Eventually it made nether quartz valuable to pigs (and explosive) as well. I'm surprised that glowstone isn't considered a nether ore too, given...

    Nether changes... ridiculous!

NO has always been focused on risk/reward mining (as exemplified by everything in the mod), so yeah, making nether quartz explode and call pigs just because it happens to be a nether ore is indeed stupid. It's basically the same thing as making all overworld ores give some sort of effect just...

    Solar power conversion

IC2's solar panels are only considered good because you can stack 512 of them into the same block, after makng 512 of them. If you were able to do the same for Ender IO's photovoltaic cells, you'd probably consider those good as well. As for Mekanism, it's worth noting that, by default, its...

    Nether changes... ridiculous!

It's not that Nether Ores is stupid, it's just that Nether Ores changing quartz by default is stupid. I mean, it makes sense for ores that yield double the usual and are only found in hell to be dangerous to mine. It doesn't make any sense for something you find everywhere and is used for tons...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

At least this can be partly solved with EnderIO (and its own facades).

    Mekanism Power requirements

    4) Big Reactor with an active coolant port + steam dynamos/big turbine. Requires slightly more infra-structure, but worth using if you really like steam but can't be bothered to use Railcraft anymore.

    Mekanism Power requirements

Actually, with 9 speed upgrades, Mek machines use 100x more power. Eek. With 9 energy upgrades, they use 1/10 of power (using machines at 2 RF/t or the Digital Miner at around 8 RF/t is slow, but fun). So, with 9 of both, your stuff still use 10 times more energy. 200 RF/t is considerably more...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

And I say yes exactly because of that. You have something that still only outputs from the bottom, but there's no room? No problem, just rotate that thing, like Factorization's barrels. Not that I use them anymore, thank you JABBA

    The Thaumcraft 4.1 Experience

If you're feeling lazy, just make a room under the altar and fill it with about 150 (symmetrically placed) candles. You can actually go pretty far down, 12 blocks vertically counting from the matrix (and 5 up).

    The Thaumcraft 4.1 Experience

I just remembered something I always forget to test (and I can't test it at the moment and I'm sure I'll forget it again so uh might as well ask here). Do alchemical constructs have any suction? That is, can I pipe a jar up to them and enjoy seeing alchemy happen without needing more furnaces...

    Nether Ores don't explode now

Well, imagine a huge army of bees coming after you. Now imagine a huge army of hell bees coming after you.
  18. R

    The Thaumcraft 4.1 Experience

I don't see how that would change anything, you only need to wait a bit longer before right clicking an alembic with a jar to get the essentia out. Not that the same thing wouldn't happen if you had a golem doing the same. The new system is considerably more comfortable for manually bottling...

    Nether Ores don't explode now

Are you sure you aren't mining them with a silk touch pickaxe? They didn't explode in older versions either if you did that.

    Reloaded's Fruit Picker

You can just do the usual planter setup, with some dirt or whatever above it. Then, place a log(s) on that dirt or whatever, and the planter will plant stuff on it (them). The picker goes where the harvester would be. So in the end, nothing really changes, the only difference is that you need to...
