    It probably happened on the update from 1.0.9 to 1.0.10+; Ars Magica 2 added a biome, this changes the list of possible biomes for all world types. Thus now the layout of biomes is changed. There is, unfortunately, very little that can be done to fix this. When I update I will be emigrating...

    Weekly News Issue #3

    I would actually like to see a 4 way 'competition' as a set of 4 streams plus them being uploaded. Direwolf20 + Soaryn VS Jaded + Myrathi VS Quetzi + (I can't recall her name offhand, his SO) VS Slowpoke + a team mate. Or possibly substitute in a MindCrack team with members whom are more...

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    Thank you for the included error snip; the items in question still exist within the DW20 1.6.4 pack, release 1.0.7; but it appears that they now have 'auto assigned' IDs near the end of the permitted range (around 31000). You can see this by launching the 1.0.7 release and searching NEI for...

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    You need to be very careful such that there is /always/ a chunkloader covering your turtle. This means when you /move/ things automatically (since your player isn't there to chunkload them inherently) you require TWO chunkloaders. One to place down to become the primary and the previous...

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    I believe you're experiencing a fluid-duct version of the same crash I had earlier. Your world is probably corrupted, possibly to the point where you'll have had a chunk reset. You will need to edit it in MCEdit or another editor and correct the defect. Please avoid altering ducts which have...

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    The DW20 mod pack is a fairly heavy mod pack. It's possible your computer system is not sufficient to work with it. The Lite2 pack is an alternative which your computer /may/ be able to handle. The best I've been able to do is obtain an in memory footprint of about 1.5 GB using these tweaks...

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    // Most // of the Thermal Expansion related crashes / etc are bugs in b10a (which is still in the latest DW20 pack at the time of this posting) which are reported to not re-occur in b11. However for any worlds already effected you must use an editor like MCEdit to remove the effected ducts and...

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    I think this might be functioning as intended. Continuing to 'tap' a dry resin spot is supposed to either give you more resin OR kill the spot. It sounds like you just got lucky with one spot.

    Unsupported Direwolf 20: 1.6.4 {PUBLIC BETA}

    This needs more information. How do they bug out? When you move that far way the chunks will be unloaded and saved to disk. AE /should/ either interrupt this and keep them loaded (one option, I don't think it chooses this), or interpret this as those sections of the network being cutoff. Of...

    Launcher Bug [1.3.0] Updating pack == Duplicate Mods - Workaround possible

    This issue did not occur again from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 (however I didn't take sufficient notes of the before/after to determine if the difference between 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 was simply added mods).

    Launcher Bug [1.3.0] Updating pack == Duplicate Mods - Workaround possible

    That does not address the root cause of this issue. Though it seems that tonight I'll have a chance to try updating to DW20 1.6.4 pack 1.0.4 and find out if a new launcher update has resolved this.

    [1.2.9] (I think?) Launcher Bug - Force Update not fully removing old mod version

    This bug still exists in launcher version 1.3.0 (observed updating the DW20 1.6.4 pack from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3) * Force Update still does not cache valid asset files * Force Update still does not remove old versions of the mods ** Thus the asset cache and install location (turn on debugging under...

    ANY pack with ANY set of duplicated mods AFTER upgrade/downgrade. Known Fix: This is a Launcher bug (not pack specific). You must delete BOTH the install location's mods folder, AND delete the entire Direwolf20 1.6.4 (similar name) ftblauncher cache location (the exact spot varies from...

    [1.2.9] (I think?) Launcher Bug - Force Update not fully removing old mod version

    I too experienced the 'duplicate mods' screen (on Linux, but it's been reported on Windows and Mac as well) when updating the Direwolf20 1.6.4 pack from release 1.0.0 to 1.0.2 ; this issue also persisted across a forced update. It is not unreasonable for a Force Update to nuke and pave the mods...

    [Official] We Need Your Help - Launcher Ideas

    That's actually the main reason why I think the four profile types might be necessary. Java's memory management methodology is critical to performance and one size does not fit all circumstances.
