Not understanding your reply. Passive aggressive? I think you may be reading something into my reply that I hadn't intended to imply. I was simply thanking you for alerting me to something I wasn't aware of. Its not exactly a key combination one would be likely to stumble upon while playing the...

There are a couple of things I feel I should point out with regards food. Firstly, the lunch bags and boxes will only hold one food per slot so 3 or 6 foods in them really doesn't constitute being stuffed full. Their main advantages is that they reduce the number of slots used in your inventory...

Trail mix is greatly reduced in the update. I wasn't aware about the special key combination for resetting hunger and health due to the fact I never cheat when playing minecraft and therefore wouldn't have gone looking for it. Took me all of 2 minutes to determine how to remove it. Thanks for...

I did make mention about planting them on them on dirt or grass, but not much else. In the update I've added more about their growth patterns. Below is what it will say in the update. Garden bushes don't need tilled soil or water nearby and can simply be planted on regular dirt or grass. They...

Well I've done a lot of testing and rethinking with regards the slimy bows and decided they MUST stay in as a challenge. Of course this is not to say I've ignored your suggestion altogether. On the contrary, the javelins and throwing knives have been included in the challenge. Think about how...

The version you're currently playing also starts with a greater possibility of finding cane close to the spawn, but that's it. The new version will only be the sand level depth which does make a difference to how you can play the game. Not proud? Nonsense, you should be proud that you're...

IT crossed my mind. I'll play around with it and see if it makes much difference. With too many upgrades though, you could wind up with all tools having virtually the same features, just getting them in a different order. I've already made heaps of changes in the update, even thinking of...

You have a point, it was too easy to ignore the killing quests and just get on with advancing your materials to the point where killing mobs becomes relatively easy. Apart from the first couple that opened up other quests, the rest could be left to do at ones leisure. Same went for growing...

Yes, you can currently barf obsidian till the cows come home. Don't forget to floss afterwards as obsidian can leave dust in your teeth and you wouldn't want discoloured teeth would you? I say currently cause that nasty developer is just as likely to remove the straw recipe in the next update...

Funnily enough, I generally prefer the hammer. It takes down zombies and skeletons faster than the others, has by far the longest durability and can harvest orange stained clay which I can use for making a dark enclosure for my ore berries. Harvesting cobwebs isn't a high priority for me as...

You must be really ripping into those repeatable quests. I could make some of them more repeatable than others but that would reduce the likelihood of getting the rarer ones. I did have them mathematically worked out via a formula where the odds of running out before finishing the quest was...

If I get enough requests to change the new crossbow vs longbow options, I'll consider it, especially as the crossbow option requires making bolts if you want to actually use it. For some reason Tinkers won't make the slime bow parts, even though I've got them configured to allow blue slime. I'm...

I still would prefer the lumber axe over the battle axe, you can grow giant jungle trees pretty early and the battle axe has trouble with a tree that size... Except the lumber axe does very little damage on mobs.

But that's the whole point of having a choice. You get to choose the one that suits your style of play best. I've noticed many ppl choose the scythe due to its ability to remove cobwebs and also to damage multiple mobs simultaneously. The battle axe can remove multiple logs in one blow in a...

Believe me, the AA will almost certainly be disabled. I'll do some more research on the LTN before making a decision about it though. With agricraft installed the AA isn't really needed. You'll be pleased to hear I've made a mutation for the strawberry but have yet to confirm it works. Fingers...

Its probably going to be weeks rather than days as I spent yesterday re-arranging a heap of stuff only to have the whole thing crash and not let me back in. I loaded up a previous HQM and started again, this time making a text file of all the changes I'm making so that if it does it again, I...

Glad to hear you like some of the changes we've made to the pack. Sorry to hear you're getting lag on NEI. I think you may be the first to report this. I've been trying to find a way to reduce the way it shows recipes, especially the useless stuff it tends to show when there is no recipe. The...

Hi Elder. I've just returned from touring south of South Island Nz so have been away from internet till now, hence the delay in responding. I have to agree, I've never had any problem with the hunger. By the time I reach 50 I've got chests full of various foods that I've earn't via reward bags...

...and that's why I mentioned in the 'Disclaimer' book that many recipes have been changed... but don't worry, it seems many others don't bother reading all the helpful stuff I spent decades writing. For future reference, ignore what the wiki says about recipes for this game, Play it safe and...

Just noticed this sentence in your reply. You get grapes from tropical bushes. Try planting some and see how you go....
