It would be nice to have a FTB power standard

Well that's more of a problem with the way your brain works instead of the concept. You are free to do things however you want, no sense limiting people who want to be more seamless. And it wouldn't make the other mods obsolete, just their power system. May I suggest making everything...

It would be nice to have a FTB power standard

Whelp looking at direwolfs new video on eloraams blog seems they are on their way of fully implementing bluetricity so I'll happily change my suggestion to redpower. Oh and I completely agree Remaker.

It would be nice to have a FTB power standard

The purpose of my suggestion is to give you the option of a standard, not take away your ability to run different networks.

It would be nice to have a FTB power standard

I recognize the argument in reference to server play, but I've always seen that as a problem for server admins. I'm more of a free market guy anyways, don't feel right forcing people to do things a certain way.

If you like simplicity I guess. I mean for their amount of machines it works, but the storage and wires are a bit limited. Hah, love your sig.

Yeah reading up on bluetricity right now. The concept is awesome, seems they haven't implemented it fully yet though.I'd like to change my answer to bluepower for the standard when they finish up.

I haven't gotten a chance to play with redpower, you may be correct. That was a lot of actuals btw.

What's wrong with free energy? (even discounting the fact that the machines to gather said energy are not in fact free) Green power is the future maaaaannn lol. I said that because they implement energy storage and transfer the best. Much like actual electricity.

It would be nice to have a FTB power standard

Across all of the mods. Something for a willing developer to think about. I think IC2 implements power the best and I would suggest this as the standard. Much like forestry's electrical engine a device(or separate devices) could be made for all of the different mods to allow their machines to...

    GregTech

I have tried all of the other mods and I do like them. I don't see how this has anything to do with my comment.

I don't see how anyone can like forcing you to use steel. Why would you want to have to not only abandon eu/mu in that archaic process, but have to wait forever for it to process the materials. It's pretty dumb. If greg wanted to do something worthwhile to get the mods to work together he...

    Problem with Buildcraft's Obsidian Pipes.

I seem to be having the same problem. In fact when the electrical engine is hooked up it doesn't even suck up the items touching it.

I wish it would just add what it adds and not mess with 'balancing' the rest of the mods. Like people said it adds some cool stuff, and it's good that that stuff is expensive, but messing with the other recipes is a bit much.

Gotta look into this cinderpearl business.

    Automated animal breeding?

Ah good idea. Forgot about quicksand since I died in it my first game on ftb. Gotta find some, it should be useful for all kinds of stuff.

Thats a silly response. I won't go further since the moderators don't seem to like us discussing this in every thread.

    Getting Magma Cream

Just started using the blast furnace to make some steel plates for a feeder and I gotta say it's probably the most retarded addition to the pack. Gregtech changing the recipes to steel seems even more foolish now. The thing takes forever to cook and uses huge amounts of fuel. If greg's plan...

    Automated animal breeding?

Nah, I've been killing stuff for ages. I'm thinking some water to push the overflow over a ledge and then a portal turret thing at the bottom to kill it off and then some obsidian pipes to suck up the drops.

    Automated animal breeding?

Yeah I was just have bad luck, went searching for some more since mikey's comment (thanks mikey) and found one with basically all carrots and no potatoes lol.

You can also change the config file of gregtech to not use steel tools recipe.
