I was having this problem too - assumed it was because even when controlled, spawners still work as normal (only spawning when a player is nearby). Great to hear it'll be fixed!

I personally use Buildcraft, because it requires you to actually think about and engineer pipe systems. That and it's fun to watch stuff whizz around through a tangled web of pipes.

Any mod that makes me consistently use Wolfram Alpha is a good mod.

How much warp is required to unlock Eldritch Revelation? I have the Sanity Checker filled up completely (albeit most of it is temporary), but so far no dice. Does temporary warp not work?

I tried powering a Skeleton spawner in the Nether (Wither skeletons -> Coal -> Fractionator) with a performance engine. When I placed it down, it lasted for about half a second before exploding. :p Related exploit: Unless it blew up something I didn't notice, it exploded into 11 stacks of HSLA...

Question regarding RotaryCraft: I remember reading rumours that it's possible to send shaft power through a Nether portal - are they true? And if they are, how do you do it? I've tried "connecting" a powered shaft so that it would be outputting into a portal in the overworld, chunkloading it...
