Not sure. I'm still using my bastardised version of 1.2.4 or whatever. I added Mekanism, which adds its own salt anyway. Does 1.4.0 still have chisel? If chisel is out and you don't have limestone for Pam's salt to spawn in it might cause issues, that's all I can think of...

It's an inverter card, and having tested it out last time it was mentioned, it doesn't work with the import bus unfortunately.

Not that i'm aware of. I've utilised an MFR grinder to kill blazes coming out of a vanilla blaze spawner and it happily collects blaze rods. Maybe it's something to do with the water?

From my experience the above was true in Unleashed, false in Monster (where saltpeter would randomly appear all other the place). I have yet to see any in the overworld in 1.7

You missed the most relevant (to my interests) function of any teleporter... "Can transport projectile TNT across large distances". It's vital for the function of my new device. I call it "The wings of Colin". Some transporters can, some can't :)

Content, no. Crossmod compatibility, already handled by other mods to some extent. AOBD works for most things, CofH core can handle worldgen for pretty much anything in existence and universal cables exist. No need for forge to enforce something like this.

Charm of the wither from magical crops. One of them and a nice set of bound armour, I can stand in a warded room with the wither and just whale on his faces with impunity :)

As far as I understand it, rods emit heat on all their horizontal faces, so having them touching the outer case of the reactor will cause the case to heat up and lower your efficiency.
