    Real life Minecraft moments

Being inspired by the LHC, I've decided to do my bit for (minecraft) science and create the Large Cow Collider. I know, I know, most of my experiments tend to involve cruelty to cows, but the perpetual motion cow was hilarious so shut it. This time, my plan is to create two proton cow...

Trying to figure out AE2 auto smelting

^ that. Longer answer: Use an export bus on one side of the machine and tell it to export ore, this will automatically export any items of the type you specify into the inventory/machine you attach it to so long as you have some in your ME network. Then use an import bus on another face to...

    Real life Minecraft moments

Technically speaking, most engines work on that principle. Even fission reactors. And the atomic science(?)/resonant rise fusion reactor uses plasma to boil water to drive turbines. One day, we'll invent something more grown up than kettle power, in the meanwhile there's reactorcraft ;)

I Derp, You Derp, We all Derp, What's your's?

*notices quarry is finished in its' current location* *grabs landmarks and wrench and heads downstairs to reset quarry* *resets quarry, heads back upstairs* *continues dicking about getting bits ready for my next tier of Blood Altar* *runs out of stone, goes back to grab more from ME...

    Grass Color

I once completely deforested an entire magic forest biome just to get a few silverwood saplings. True story.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Also an ME Interface with 5 Molecular assemblers attached to it still only uses one channel. Technically this means I can run 160 Molecular assemblers off a single dense cable. Fear the might of Colin!

    Grass Color

Rotarycraft has a terraformer that can change one biome into a vaguely similar one. Or Thaumcraft can change biomes to magical forest.

    Real life Minecraft moments

I found my bosses house on google maps and immediately looked nearby for a good spot for a TNT cannon.

What do you recommend for my situation?

Set up one of those crowd-sharing things like SETI and others have used where people can donate processing power to accomplish some major task. Claim to be curing cancer or something. Personally, i'd be using it to mine bitcoins but you could just as well host a minecraft world with it...

Will openblocks vacuum hoppers work underwater? I'm thinking about automating my fluix crystal production and I need something that can grab loose objects sat in water.

Help with creativity.. Am I doomed to 9x9s?

Just some little extra aesthetic advice (maybe irrelevant to you but it helps me). 1. Plan ahead. Try to get a mental picture of what you want, enough to get a basic floorplan so you can clear the ground, and then work out how many levels you want after. For framerate reasons, it's best to...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

If I swandive off the edge of a cliff with my resonant jetpack's hover mode switched off, it'll automatically turn on before I hit the ground. That's neat.

    FTB Infinity: Tesseract Energy Piorities

tbh, if i'm going to divvy up power like that i'd use energy cells inline and put limits on the output for flow control.

    Missing textures in Rotarycraft?

Quite possibly :P I loaded my world this morning and everything was rendering just fine. Personally I'm going to blame java. And microsoft. And hippies.
