    Johnsmith isn't updating the lack anymore, so we took over. And there might be a chance of us making a higher resolution for the vanilla texture pack, but not for mod support.

    Yea. Some mods haven't changed the way their textures are handled, so some updates may apply to both, whereas others are only for 1.4.7.

    Yea, that was my bad. I hadn't updated the link to the new rolling changelog in the op. The banner at the top should take you to the updated changelog.

    1.2 just splits the mods versions into two branches, 1.5 and pre 1.5. Ignore that popup and continue using the patcher as normal. Glow will update the patcher download once he is done with github integration, which will be very cool.

    I'm stumped here. I downloaded the latest version of the mindcrack pack, and these are how the stock GUIs look. EDIT: I found out what the problem is, I'm uploading a fix now.

    Which version of MFFS are you using? Looking at the current GUI's I don't see any hint of having buttons in the top right.

    Make sure you're using the 1.4.7 version of shaders.

    Random Mob Textures Not Working

    You have to use optifine to be able to use the randomized mob textures. The reason that they were randomized on tekkit is because Optifine came pre-installed in that mod pack.

    Only thing I can think of is if the mod versions dont match up. For example, using an outdate download for the patches for a more up to date mod.

    D5 should be able to work. Make sure it's for MC 1.4.6/7.

    I'm kind of torn. On one hand I like it a lot because if a mod updates, you don't have to merge your current texture sheet with the new one just for the vanilla textures to show. On the other hand, it's going to be a lot harder and more annoying to work on multiple sprites at a time, each...

    A lot of the opaque backgrounds that johnsmith used were hand drawn with actual art utensils, and then were scanned and modified to fit within the minecraft GUI. As much as I would love to do this, it is just not feasible to do it for every single GUI in the game, (which there are a ton of)

    Texture packs in the launcher

    Due to the licenses by Sphax, nobody is allowed to re-distribute the base texture pack for sphax, so that won't be able to happen.
