You can reduce instability by adding things such as scorched earth and meteors, which can add their own issues of course...

This sounds fun, might try and go for a generated octuple house before 1.6 packs hit Vanilla cobble gen with a ME transition plane is a little bit quicker than ingneous extruders but will take more space, could look pretty cool with huge banks of them :)

Nice design Shneekey, saw it on the ic2 forums and have been using it in my let's play for a couple of weeks (2 tier producing 1440eu/t) and it works great :) I'm using BC Silicon and Advanced Power Management for the redstone control.

I was daily on a single series up until very recently, about to start recording episode 58 of my unleashed let's play. Now I'm putting out a video every day but it is alternate days unleashed and unhinged (latest is episode 3) (and have had a couple of Sundays off because it get's a bit much :)).

I'm really liking the new conductive pipes and am using them over conduits in some cases, redstone energy cells (RECs) are still boss though. A tidy solution using TE for BC Lasers (which also always draw power in newer versions): REC with main power going in and dedicated power to your lasers...

Somnia mod (was in single player technic back before ftb existed) allowed you to sleep but still ran the game at an accelerated speed through the night, so you could set things to craft/process then sleep til morning. link
