A little less in jest, it would actually fit RC's theme extremely well and he's one of the few coders I trust to get frames right. Of course every mod developer in this thread is excellent please don't hate me. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

I vote for RotaryCraft frames. Because it can do pretty much everything else ever and @Reika isn't busy enough as it is =P Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

Another PR disaster might be non-survivable for Microsoft's gaming division, to be honest. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

There are two subtle, but important differences there. Three if you include the time gap; M$ has been making some steps toward mending its ways in recent years. Allow me to elaborate. Firstly; that was a product conceived of, built, and released by Microsoft. Yes ok part of an established...

I find certain tasks much more obtuse than they used to be. I rather liked the old tree structure of the start menu; to reach an application shortcut now through that menu is rather more complicated. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

Win 8 totally had problems at release of you didn't have a touch screen. It's still more difficult to navigate in its native GUI than Win 7 was if you don't have a touchscreen, and its multi-monitor support is lacking, in my opinion. New and working better is well and good, but I haven't been...

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

I've tried to say this subtly but apparently it's not getting through, so let's try again; I'm disappointed and perplexed by everyone suggesting that this means Microsoft will immediately start DLCing the heck out of Minecraft, damaging the game, etc. You're all smarter than that; on so very...

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

On that topic they may not even expect to make anything further through Minecraft; they may simply want a vehicle to offer 54 million people new products. And I'm quite sure they could manage to offer better server hosting than is available almost anywhere else for a competitive price. If the...

Do bear in mind that is Windows 8.1 you are referring to. I have to agree with the crowd opinion that the initial release was pretty much a mistake born of Ballmer's delusions about tablets. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

My opinion is that Win8 is amazing at what it was designed to do, which is work with a touchscreen. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

I'm just offering my opinion; those are very hard to offer object proof of. I could explain everything that's led me to that conclusion but we'd be here all day. Here's the short version, though: 1. Modding is keeping this game alive and Mojang has failed to push a proper API or work with the...

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

I don't think they're a bad company but I think maintaining and updating their game has gone beyond them. I think they've made some bad decisions. I think they should be working with the modding community and they're borderline working against it. I think at least some of them just don't care...

I've done it the hard way (SkyUI) and I've done it with the click of a button through Workshop. Neither struck me as any less complicated than the MC process, particularly the "insert them into the .jar" process. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

Heavens, I don't know, I'm not a programmer; I just know that Minecraft is plagued with performance issues primarily because Java was never meant to do this. Look at games like Civilization V. As far as I'm aware it'll run on any platform, full touchscreen support and through the Steam...

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

I actually think they would. Certainly they'll want to improve the pocket edition to drive Windows Phone sales. Likely they'll want it to actually "just work" on PC as well, and possibly help improve their frankly horrible app store adoption.... and to be straight up it might not be good for...

    Opinions on Microsoft buying Mojang

Well, yes, being that it's more than a decade later and we're presenting fact-based opinions. Mojang and Access are drastically different, and so is this sale, if for no other reason than that the gaming climate is drastically (I want to say ludicrously) different. Microsoft would be utter...
