In 1.6 I can use the EnderIO travel anchors between walls and floors, I don't imagine they've changed. When you stand on one, you can see the others as transparencies. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

I was told there would be punch and pie. Anyway, I think every pack on the launcher has at least one way to farm pearls. Expect this trend to continue in 1.7. It's not exactly Reika Science. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

It sounds like it. I suppose I have some elderly relatives who are equally set in outdated ways. Oh, side note, I think we need a Reika Kerbal Space Program Let's Play. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

ReactorCraft and ElectriCraft fit that late game description though, but I don't see how RotaryCraft does. Sorry, that's my fault on not defining things properly; RoC is very quick to get into, although I would argue that many of its higher functions take a lot of effort to reach, at least...

To be honest with you, I think I kind of get what he means. There actually isn't a huge difference between what I think of as the Reika Core, and GT, philosophically. They're both high-tech, end-game mods with a lot of complexity and crafting steps. The biggest difference is in the modder's...

I don't meet that many minimum requirements either, but when we're talking about stuff that's running on Java and not optimized for, say, an 8 core CPU, the older models often have a lot more raw power. I've mentioned this before, but my CPU is the very last iteration of the Core 2 Quad, and on...

I kind of feel that in many places, this is the case, but I don't like it when people make statements that just assume our way is the standard way. It's probably a Canadian thing. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Incidentally, the technical graphics ability demonstrated in IFFTS was stunning, all due credit to @iChun It's just not what I think of when I hear "aesthetic" and of course everyone is going to interpret that a little differently. I will also say that, while many of them are... clearly not of...

Well, I certainly find that aesthetically pleasing. Takes me back to the Worms games, or a few Shiny titles. That being said, I have to agree that it kind of misses the whole point of the award, although being some form of artistic expression is about all it can be defined as.

I have to think too, from my own experiences, that a big part of the problem (at least in the Western world) is that we don't really teach people how to handle criticism growing up. Especially when it comes to creative endeavours. Handling criticism of any sort has always been one of my...

I feel that part of the problem is, for every rational, well.thought-out opinion, you get three people saying something along the lines of "This sucks! You suck! Sucking is a thing that is happening in this vicinity!" This can get a bit discouraging, even when the polite ones are more gently...
