Make a 1x1x1 pool of water with a dirt block on the bottom. Right-click with a crook until you snag a lily pad. It will probably take a few clicks, so just hold down the button.

    Base Biome Preference

Somewhere flat, so I don't have to dig/fill much of the surroundings. I hate jumping everywhere.

Do wither skulls normally not drop when the skeletons are killed with a Grinder, or is this just a AS thing? Spent over two million essence on them in a Spawner, and got stacks of necrotic bones but no skulls. A Looting II sword got me some, but not the Grinder.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

That MFR Block Breakers don't affect liquids like TE's Terrain Smashers or AE's Transition Planes do. Although they require power, I no longer have problems getting glowstone. Lots and lots and lots of glowstone.

Uses for Platinum in Agrarian Skies?

Make a bunch of runes for a Blood Magic altar. Sacrifice and I believe self sacrifice uses a lot of flux-infused electrum.

Thanks. First time I've seen one grow 1x1 instead of 2x2. And I tried that before and nothing :P

Is there a trick to growing greatwoods? I got some saplings as a reward, and need the wood to complete a component for one of the quests. But I can't get the saplings to grow. Planted in a 2x2 and used a lot of the durability of the hoe of growth I got as a reward, and nothing. And they've...

I think you sieve topiary grass. Which is a dirt with four wheat seeds surrounding it.

Dirt/grass blocks, not tall grass. No idea about the obsidian though. Other blocks are double-sandstone slabs, ice, netherrack, and TNT.

MFR Harvesters work wonders here. Point them at the highest part of the tree and they harvest downwards. Skyblock or void ages are perfect for this. No need to dig way down or go way up to plant them.

How do you automate the Harvestcraft plants? Given that a Harvester pulls the entire plant, golems ignore them, and you have to turn them into seeds to replant.

Natura's Bloodwood trees from the nether/reward bag. Fully harvestable with a MFR Harvester. Although the wood is junk (can't be made into charcoal) they drop redstone. The only problem is that they need netherrack, soul sand, or Natura's nether dirt to grow on, and an Autonomous Activator...

easy way to get essence seeds

Set up an Aqueous Accumulator with a Sprinkler on top. No need to supply water to the Accumulator. Although slower than straight bonemeal the sprinkler can cause grass to grow.

Golden lassos work on non-hostile mobs, and are reusable. Also, it took me a while to figure out that Ex Nihilo crucibles can be piped into, but only into the top.

For things like rain I have no problems with cheating them in. I play games for fun, not to sit around for several real-life days waiting for the RNG to allow me to continue. Randomness does NOT equal difficulty.

If you have sugar can, five of them in an X in the crafting grid makes five punji sticks. Low but continuous damage while on one, slows it's victims, and doesn't destroy items.

Another tip. Some recipes, namely pistons, machine frames, and pneumatic servos, can use aluminum in place of the iron they normally use.

How can i finish this quest faster?

As I understand it, Sewers have a limit on how much sewage they can output at one time (per tick or second). So, as long as whatever limit fluiducts have isn't reached, multiple small sewers is better than one large sewer. At least if that hasn't changed at some point. The information was...

With the added benefit of not loosing any to the lava. Hammered products go straight into your pouch, at least if you're close enough.
