Ender Thermic Pump suddenly slowed down

I hope someone has good input to this question. I've had no luck with the enderthermic pump.

    Base Design

There used to be an epic dome building program on the computercraft forums. It was replaced with a general purpose shape builder, but I have a softspot for that dome builder...I still use it. Really makes it nice when all you have to do is check it every few minutes and toss a few more stacks...

    Thermal Expansion Status

Gates are still useful when used in conjuction with red pipe wire and/or some form of redstone wire. The 'simple' solution goes something like this, assuming all BC piping (no conduit or anything). Now, you'll still have power lost, but it won't be constant. Set a gate on the power line, right...

    Base Design

My building style is heavily influenced by my playstyle and being colorblind. As early as feasible in the game, I dig down and make a room to live in. From there, I dig down to mine for iron, gold, diamond, and redstone. At some point in the process, I need more space, so I start to make a...

Best way to get industrial fertilizer for MFR tree farm?

My experience with this is more mixed. It depends on the farms. Wheat farms take so much fertilizer that nothing seems to keep up. Tree farms, on the other hand, take practically nothing. A single composter kept full can keep up with probably 10 or 12 tree farms.

Best way to get industrial fertilizer for MFR tree farm?

Cows. Even if you have despawns and stupid wall deaths, cows are easy to keep stocked.

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

All true, and a good attempt to pick up the original conversation and change direction. I believe I joined this thread with people talking about how a cost without a reward is a poor game design decision and appear to have gotten sidetracked by this diversion into mid- and late-game dynamics...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

I apologize in advance for formatting errors. Doing this on the phone is more difficult than I expected. I cannot refute your first statement, as it hinges on assumptions of people's play styles. It may be correct, and it does in fact apply to me, but not until end-game. The point in time...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

At this point, I can only assume you didn't bother to read any of my previous posts fully. This has been answered, indirectly. I would? Sir, I'm not sure why you're attacking me rather than addressing the topic, but I really don't think it's appropriate to the thread or subject. I'll try...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

Um. No? I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to accomplish with this post. It looks like you're trying to frame me as a Bad Player by misrepresenting what I said without the context of previous posts. I believe that these two quotes accurately truncate my previous walls of text into...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

Interesting question, and I don't really have a good answer. Some general thoughts, maybe, but it's not a question I've given any thought to at all, so this is really off the top of my head. The nuke minigame has potential, and they got a base system that is, probably, pretty interesting (if...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

In the context of my previous posts, it is highly likely that I am, in fact, done when I've placed the rolling machine. My preference for building, especially early/mid game, is to generate enough power to refill a redstone energy cell used as an intermediate buffer between my machines and my...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

Thank you. Good to know I hadn't found a problem with foot-to-mouth disease. At least not entirely. The problem I have with this is that you're conflating difficult with micromanagement (or tedium, perhaps). Micromanagement isn't difficult. It's just something you do or automate around. My...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

I don't even think I can call that an uncharitable summation of my position. I'm not sure what I did or said to offend you, but I'm willing to discuss it offline if you really have a problem with me or what I've said. In fact, no. I am bothered with the details quite frequently. I do make...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

I don't believe it's naive. I can offer a real-world example of an automatic shutoff for a mechanical device as a good design principle all day long. I think it's a good example. Idle power draw on industrial (and consumer) electronics is also a valid comparative point, BUT, there are some...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

Before I get started, I'd like to ask if you realize the that tone of your post was condescending? That's a tremendous barrier to effective communication. I build things. Same as you. I don't overbuild tend to overbuild. If I need 32 mj/t, I produce, maybe, 40. If I need to power an AE...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

That's still a cost. I mean, no matter how you shake it, it's a cost. My solution to that cost has always been to destroy the offending machines. I keep a rolling machine and a thermionic fabricator in a chest (if I even make them) and only put them down when I need them, and only for the...

How can I figure out what is sucking the power out of my Redstone Energy Cell?

Only inasmuch as the loss was intended to happen in the pipes instead of at the machine. TE honored that with the 5%/25% system loss on transfer.

Anyone using 9 or close to 9 different inputs into MFR Bioreactor ?

I used different trees for saplings Sakura, Jungle, Fir, Darkwood, Fusewood, Oak, Birch, Spruce, and ... Ghostwood, I think. The reason I chose trees over crops is industrial fertilizer...it's a bajillion and six times more efficient with a tree than with a crop, given current crop-growth...

    Thermal Expansion Status

I'm curious about the answer (primarily because after trying the Ampz pack..slightly modified, I had a lot of fun with it and would like to see greater adoption), so I hope he will post it publicly.
