Try removing the hats and hat stand mod. There is a known issue with it but afaik has not been fixed yet. I have just updated to 1.0.14 version of the pack but I have not got much in my world as of yet. I will create a new world and try it out and get back to you.

When i added a mod to the direwolf 20 1.6.4 pack it informed me of a id conflict and what ranges were available. If you get the same then just change the config file of the conflicting mod to one of the suggested ranges. I did add gravisuite to the dw pack fine with no issues.

I am not really familiar with mac's unfortunately but would it be to do with read only files. Backup your world and try a force update.

If you are running the client & server from your system then try moving your save to ssp world and see if it still happens. Also if you only have 5gb total ram then running a server and client will cause you problems with lack of ram. Also please post the log to pastebin.

Your installation directory looks funny to me although it says desktop. Is it installed through a network. In all honesty a new computer would be a better an option.

I personally have 5gb allocated through the launcher which gives me no issues. If you planned on using a few chunks loaders depending on the size you could use up a fair amount of ram. I would suggest allocating between 2 & 5gb which you can change at anytime.

I would guess that there are remnants in the registry. I would make a backup of the registry because messing with it can be dangerous. Go to the site below and at the bottom it refers to a manual removal of it...
