Thermal Expansion 3 Reactant Dynamos are the shit. They run on some weird fuels, and some of them last a very long time. I personally enjoy running them on sugar and using sludge or liquid glowstone as the liquid.

Run MCPC+ and use the WorldBorder plugin. This can pre-generate chunks, although I haven't tested for issues with mod ores and such lately.

Solid reminder that no one needs OP. Assign people the permissions that they need rather than just blanket OP if they only need a few for things like WorldEdit. An excellent example is that anyone with OP and do /stop and completely turn the server off until someone with console access notices.

A batbox outputs 32 eu/t and each of those panels outputs 8 eu/t during the day. The advanced one outputs 1 eu/t at night is the only difference. The best solution is to use more engines or a more powerful type.

Quarry speed maxes out at 50 mj/t or so. An unupgraded electrical engine outputs 2mj/t and requires 6 eu/t to do so. Your 2 solar panels output 1 eu/t each but only during the day which is approximately half of 1 minecraft day. This means you are making 1 eu/t which equals out to 0.3 mj/t.

Built a 500 piece or so Logistics Pipes network overnight. Took me about 9 hours, when my friend woke up and got on our server, his FPS was between 3 and 6.

Wow, you all are used to low FPS. Anything below 100 seems choppy and below 60 I remodel my entire base or start a new world. I prefer to lock my V-Sync to 120 FPS, but my computer just can't handle that yet.

FPS+ changes some math functions, which can have affects you may or may not notice.
