As tough as it is for me to say this to a Fluttershy avatar - but the answer is still valid. It no longer is Eloraam that is the center of attraction, but rather the attitude every involved person has concerning Redpower. By now, you could replace "female, sucessful modder named Eloraam" with...
Good to know, because I was beginning to think I'm doing something wrong with all those dozens of sheep that did not let me get a good nights' sleep (which could be other players online, too, but I'll blame the wooly sirens anyways). Yes, a SC2 tree farm IS so 1998 - but at least I know what I'm...
In other news, I finally gave in to Steves Carts ... and built a rp2 managed tree farm. Got fed up with the sheep in my basement being all noisy and dirty AND not produce enough fertilizer at all. Yeah, MFR tree farms are all the rage these days, but it takes way more sheep than I am able to...
I really would like to know what eloraam did to you. I mean in just about any topic that only as much as mentions Redpower2, one can literally count the seconds it takes you to show up, foaming at the mouth and try to bring everyone and their uncle to install some alternative mods, preferably...
Another (costly) option would be a MFFS contraption with the sponge upgrade. But this does not drain the water, instead the water blocks are destroyed.
I never built a reactor of any given kind, shape or form in survival - and probably never will. I once built a so-called "safe-setup" reactor in creative... only to find myself knee-deep in radiation (and a huge crater where my base used to be) five minutes later.
Plus, same as with Thaumcraft...
From the Mystcraft-Wiki:
So, basically, yes, a 'dense ore' dimension is doomed from the start. Always.
PS: That purple tower looks pretty epic nonetheless. ;)
No promises - but I'll look into it.
I have not updated to the very latest pack yet, but.. uhm.. mind sharing a screenshot? Unless I really missed something, the ores should all be cleanstone'd. oO
In Mystcraft, there are 2 kinds of dimensions: stable and unstable.
The first is 'just another dimension'. The second however is unbalanced and comes with one or more negative sideeffects, one of those being differend kinds of so called 'decay'.
You can read about decay and what it does here...
Yeah. Let's build a good ole rectangular house out of wood. Anyone that sees it will of course yell "Ach, Hans, look, it's a beehive!" - same reason I copy the DW20 9x9, ignore the roof and call it a mansion.
Awkward thing is, there's literally millions of more or less fun stuff that I could post now. Being it about religion, against it, for it, with it, because of it. But.. I decided not to. Instead, I side with Arielle.
I feel you - it's bascially the story of my first one and a half week on Adeptcraft. Get iron armor, get killed by angry zombie. Get bronze armor, get killed by angry zombie. Get gold armor, get killed by angry zombie. Get pissed and go work on a wheat farm, creeper sneaks up behind me. ;)
I...
