    Preferred Java Version..

Java 8 Version 20. People say it causes problems, but it works fine on both my Ubuntu servers.

    32x Faithful 32x32 Pack

Currently I would suggest trying the 1.6.4 version if you want to use it on 1.7.10 but we are making an actual supported version right now.

    Preferred Java Version..

Those are dev builds, please stay the fuck away from those unless you are a programmer. The last thing we need is people using that and trying to run programs leading to false bug reports.Which processor exactly do you have? Is this a fresh world? AMD processors tend to shit the bed with large...

If a mod reads this, please remove the incomplete tag from the title.

How to texture: A guide for the rest of us. (Incomplete)

Things you are going to need: A computer, with all the normal accessories. A screen with decent color reproduction is great but not required. At least 4 gigs of memory is suggested for running a modded instance of Minecraft and image manipulation software. This is not light on memory if you...

Guide to texturing MFR Rednet cabling. (and other non standard blocks)

Yikes, I knew your video card was failing but that is more spectacular than most that I fix or see. Anyways, I will probably stick to doing these text tutorials until my internet connection is fixed. Packet loss and half a second latency does not make uploading or gaming easy. Expect the text...

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

To my knowledge the scale is linear which would mean Celsius or Kelvin. Kelvin is not used often except in scientific studies, so my money is on Celsius.

Is There Something Wrong With the Oil Fab?

    Stupid dumb question

No. If they are technically competent they could manually download a modpack over HTTP, setup a instance in the vanilla launcher, then move the mods over after installing Forge. It would be much simpler for them to use FTB launcher though. Both server and all clients need the mods to connect...

    Problem DireWolf20 Low tps

Cauldron is MCPC+. Cauldron has a minor issue, same with vanilla Forge in that chunks may not unload properly. Older Cauldron builds that were still called MCPC+ don't.

Are There Any FTB Prison Servers?

There is a high concentration of items and teleporting, but prison worlds can be quite small so most teleporting is done into already loaded chunks and the fact that so many players are in close proximity saves on memory.

Updated, I forgot a piece of the cable.

    Way to reduce server lag

You simply are located too far away from other gaming servers. Nothing except moving to another continent or laying a multi million dollar submarine fiber optic cable will fix that.

Are There Any FTB Prison Servers?

Speaking from experience, prison servers are not hard on hardware when setup properly. In fact, because of the limited exploration area performance is actually decent. The main problem with combining them with FTB is that there are so many mods that there are going to be loopholes that require...

    Modifying My Old PC

760Ti is junk, its worse than the normal 760. Also, just because latency will be good doesn't mean server performance will be good, especially if you are running a client on the same machine.

    PC Advice

If you are going to get a dedicated graphics card anyways, get an Intel Haswell chip. Much better speed per cycle.

what pc specs to run FtB ultimate at over 60fps for £600?

You don't need an i5 or i7 for decent framerates, its mostly about speed per cycle. The i3 4150 or the i5 4430 will be plenty. Also, that URL you gave is different for every person, it brings up the list of saved parts in your browser cache. Copy and paste the permalink from PCPP instead.
