I can only think of one occasion. On my server, someone pissed off the Pig Men, and I didn't know. I lost everything to fire. I was pretty pissed. Otherwise, if I'm restarting a world, or don't like the seed, I generally don't feel any rage ;)

I believe if you hit M, a menu for the mini map will pop up, enabling you to turn off death points, and mob spawns. I don't know all the steps off hand, but the menu is pretty self explanatory.

Oh you reminded me. Crafting tables, chests, doors, etc in the different wood colors would be awesome (I know Natura does some of this)

I always think of things when I'm playing, but I'm drawing a blank now. I'd just like King Lemming and Azanor to make ALL THE THINGS and I'd probably be a happy girl.

Honestly, I don't care at all if there is a "final" (vs. beta) pack and when it's released. As long as you guys keep busting your butts to update us, I'm a happy girl.

I mostly mine by hand. Sometimes I'll throw an IC2 miner down, or a turtle, but I really do prefer to go cavin.

Yes, there is. If the one on the site is giving you errors, you might try to use the one in the 1.5.2 pack from the launcher.

They've stressed heavily that this is a beta, so I'd probably wait to be on the safe side (though to be honest I've not run into any issues with the pack). I'm not even sure there will be an official release of 1.5.2, last I heard they were only releasing a beta and not recommending any build...

Oh I enjoyed that one. If you like post apocalyptic stuff, The Passage was good, too. Coben is great - there is always a twist you don't see coming.

I made my own 1.5.2 pack and it's working fine. It's not nearly the amount of mods that Ultimate is, though. That said, most everyone is being awesomely patient. It's been nearly a month since the pack was supposed to come in a week. Most everyone understands that it takes time for these...
