    I love HQM; but modded minecraft has existed without it for a good long while. I would suggest Lets Plays or the wiki. And a really really good start is punching a tree and making a crafting table.

    Sounds like your having user-side issues. Maybe try deleting FTB Launcher and doing a fresh install. A horde of other people and I have zero problems launching it. But do not rant at the team....they work really hard to give you free stuff. Everyone should be grateful for free stuff.

    FTB Mage Quest {ALPHA} Bug Reports

    The Hero Medallion will not absorb my xp. I currently have 39 levels, and I have right-clicked, shift+right-clicked, jump+shift+right-click, and jump+spinning in counter-clockwise circles+right clicking and nothing has caused it to absorb my xp. I cannot seem to make the thing work.

    Charcoal blocks are not in the pack I use (Mage Quest) and it has Botania. Are you sure that is a Botania feature?

    Botania- Looking for midgame setup

    Wow, that pressure plate is an easy work around for a ton of complicated redstone tomfoolery. I am wondering if I can get a similar setup with automagy. But I may have to go the complicated route on this build. In Magequest, coal is not used a ton and I am using coal blocks.
