    Has anyone tried using the GT transmute for charcoal to work around the pretty-much mv requirements for sustaining charcoal production? I'm sitting here staring at it, envisioning a system that does this to fuel an alumentum crafting auto-alchemist machine, but i'm pretty sure its a no bueno...

    Is there currently any plan for the gearbox item from GregTech? id thought it would of been part of a turbine in the unofficial version. I think it does that as a means to defeat people using websites to cheat the research mini game :P Never seen an "unsolvable" puzzle since TC3 though.

    I was onto something alright, the fact that i should of gone to bed after making this post ... part of my issue was related to the fact that my laptop believed it was running on batteries, still with an entire swath of disabled mods im getting high world tick times that frequently peak over 50ms

    After some further research, @Pyure : I have ruled out GregTech 5.08.19 for now - Beyond Reality uses the same version in V2.3.0B - all i have to show for my research on that pack is an abysmal framerate (10-50 fps, horrible fluctuation even with Optifine) Tick times are still holding around...

    /tps command gives the following; Opis reports a tick speed average of 100-200ms, it also reports that the "World Tick" is 85-95% of that, this is also an area devoid of magic forest and taint biomes ...

    Is anyone else still getting the tick time problems? i just loaded up from my laptop and in some cases i can break a block 6 times before the internal server catches up with that.

    Do we still have the XU pipes? I recall a DW20 ep where he used them to move ic2 batteries around between cesu's to avoid having a huge power loss ...

    Didnt throw up any warnings in console, but i had to pause the game to make the chunks appear when i retested with xbl enabled. To the best of my knowledge opis was recording ticks under 4m/s at best and it dosnt give up rendering the chunks on a new world without xbl, worst it was 8m/s. If i...

    I'm getting appallingly slow worldgen and its also taking a while to call generated chunks out, no fps loss though (for once).

    I know the BP generates marble veins, i spawned right next to one in v3.0.1. I actually like the variety it adds in transport tubing and the fact that they arnt as derpy as buildcraft pipes, though i think we might need to greggify the BP tubes ... maybe brass plates at least?

    @Jason McRay - did 3.0.1 ship with old scripts, or did the installer not wipe the old scripts? Im seeing alot of scripting errors when i load into my newset world ... edit; changed /code to /spoiler ... D'oh!

    Do remember that BC pipes slosh like the GT ones, so liquid moves back and forth between any apertures on the piping system - and with regards to the fluid tanks: if it didn't work, you didn't do it right ... an alloy smelter needs 4 of them to even hope of a decent runtime, each machine must...
