Unless you implement a world border there is no point to not wiping it since a player can access a new "world" just by running a few hundred blocks in any undiscovered direction. That's part of what makes Minecraft so awesome. The end is a different story. The end has a built in border. :)

Did yours actually download? When I tried it creeperhost just threw up a generic page and didn't start my file download.

Normally you would open the launcher, then on the Modpacks tab change the Filter to Server and download the server that you want. Right now the link to Magic World goes to this: Edit by mod: there will be no links to repo or launcher by non mods. That file apparently doesn't exist...
