    Depends on which battery you use, resonant ones last a pretty long time and you could carry more with you, either in your inventory or in a bag as spares.

    One thing that is useful is to not install any batteries and to carry an energy cell or flux capacitor instead, you still get power and you save weight capacity for other things like heat plating.

    It lags when it is growing in the same way it lags when the world is generating, and probably a little more because of lighting updates. Once it is grown its leaves may cause client side lag if you have fancy graphics on.

    Use energy conduit there, Mekanism is compatible with redstone flux.

    Energy conduit works with Mekanism so you could keep your hydrogen generators and wire everything up with energy conduit, I don't know how good (performance wise) they are but I doubt they are that bad. I don't know what the problem with power converters is.

    As I said in the other thread, Mekanism energy cubes can accept EU and output RF so you could use those to convert.

    Just using energy conduits isn't going to work then is it. EDIT: And they can't even accept MJ, they output MJ. Mekanism energy cubes can accept EU and output RF so you could try using those to convert instead of the energy bridge.

    For making more mob essence, how about a dark room with mob grinders? You could upgrade it to have a vanilla mob spawner or cursed earth later.

    Depends on the reactor design, there's a big reactor fuelled by a laser drill as part of this.
