To be fair, it was more annoying than threathening, as I'm in full invar armor and the manuillyn (?) broadsword I'm using one-shots non-armored enemies. Still, it clogged up my smelteries with blood :/

That's the thing: I need the infusion altar so I can make a greatwood sapling. That\s the problem, it basically puts you in a closed loop: I need greatwood to make a runic matrix, but I need a runic matrix to make an infusion altar that will allow me to make a greatwood sapling.

Okay, now I'm confused. To make a runic matrix, you need 40 ordo in your wand. However, a wooden wand can only contain 25 of each element. However, to make a silverwood or a quartz rod to get the 40 ordo in my wand, I need an infusion altar, which requires a runic matrix...

Do you have prechargers shooting at it? Is there an empty block between the precharger and the drill? Do you have a chest on top of the laser drill? A screenshot would really help.

When setting up an infusion altar in Thaumcraft, do you have to have the symmetrical stabilizers up before right-clicking the structure to complete it, or can they be placed after the multi-block structure's made?

Wow. Is it even remotely feasible to get that much redstone in an even remotely realistic amount of time?

Oh good, appearantly I need to use a smeltery to make scorched bricks for the high oven. Or, rather, 9 of them, 1 for each metal. Both my smelteries are currently automated to give me ingots... guess I'll have to do some tweaking or downright tear the smelteries down... :(
