With the "Yer a Wizard Steve" quests, I only have 3 left to do: The "Braaaaains" (Angry zombies aren't spawning in often enough), the second-to-last one (the one that required a ton of lamps of fertility, growth as well as golem animation cores) as well as the one after. I should try to complete...

Seriously? Well, that means I have a whole bunch of destabilized redstone in the fluid transposer. I guess I can make some fluxed electrum with it...

Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong? Both fluiducts out of the fluid transposer are through yellow squares which I've read is fluid output.

I am 95% done with my auto-sieving construction. I just (inadvertently) did a test run and everything is running well. All I have to do now is install a storage upgrade for my barrels as well as a void upgrade and I will be done. That's going to require ~2 stacks of redstone, I'd say (for...

Silverwood staffs can hold up to 250 vis of every type, but to make it you'll need a greatwood-staff with some discounts to afford the silverwood capping. EDIT: Whoops, forgot that you can't use staffs for crafting.

Wall of screenshots time with my current progress towards a much improved gravel/dust sieve. Aerial shot of the entire site. Main storage area. Each of the barrels is going to contain a 64-stack upgrade (The basic level one) and a void upgrade to get rid of any excess. A view of the main...

For the 1 person or so who is wondering what my problem from before was: If I hadn't moved my secondary output itemducts forward, the gravel-to-sand pulverizers would have had no way to receive power. Now, however, my gravel-to-sand pulverizers can be powered from below and the sand-to-dust...

Okay, updated picture, as I didn't want to leave it so I would forget about it. I moved the secondary output results one pulverizer forward. It also happened to solve the problem I had (Try to guess what it was still, based on the two pictures. Remember, the first one had a problem with the...

Okay, I'm done for today. While waiting for my grout to cook to bricks, I've started working on the pulverizers and the wiring. Things were going very well, in fact, but just as I was getting ready to finish today's session, I realized that I have a problem. Try to figure it out. (Hint: It...

Well, I just did stage one of my improved cobble generator/siever. That's 64 igneous extruders, 65 itemducts, 64 pneumatic servos and (thankfully) one DSU. Now for stage two: Building the smelteries that will eventually process all the ores. While I'm doing that, I've noticed that I am almost...

I guess that's the problem with me: I never do the simple, sensible, obvious thing. I always have to do it in a way that will cause me headaches. I think that, if I ever decide to try and play Dwarf Fortress, I'd fit in with the rest of the community just fine...

Yes, yes it would. But I already have 4 runes of sacrifice (That boost the sacrifice rate to, what, ~320 per chicken?) and I haven't even started on beekeeping. Plus, using yourself as sacrifice fodder...no offense, but I've had enough heartache getting just the magician's blood orb (The fact...

The only real problem is that, if you want to get greater lengthening catalysts, you need a master blood orb. Now, making the t4 altar is not going to be hard, just tedious with making the slates for 24 blood orbs :/. The hard part will be the 40k LP needed to get the blood orb itself. I can get...

I just realized that I need a lot of redstone. So I am going to head back into the nether and hunt for more. Just to make it a bit easier, I'm going to make a silverwood staff and an equal trade wand focus. Don't want to run out of vis while in the nether...

I have just done my first ever infusion on an infusion altar: A brain in a jar. Not particularly exciting, but it was a tense moment for me. Thankfully, I had enough stabilizing candles to keep the mediocre instability in check.

I'm only really interested in sieving gravel, sand and dust. If there are items that are not in the list, I would like to know of them so I don't get clogged up on items.

Thank you very much! I can see that there aren't that many types of items gotten from sieving, so maybe I can use deep storage units instead of barrels. (Looks like, broken/crushed/pulverized ores aside, there are 21 different items that can be gotten from gravel/sand/dust sieving).

I am finally, finally thinking of remaking my automated pulverizing/sifting. I'm thinking of making it 3-level, top level pulverizers only cobble and sifts gravel, second level pulverized cobble and gravel, sand's sifted and third level pulverized to dust. Then everything gets sent to...
