I released the first alpha (and second bugfix version in short notice) of my new mod: Simple Storage This mod is designed to provide a simple upgradeable chest that doesn't require a dozen different metals or crafting stages, as well as a nifty search feature.

Technically TiC tools should work as they use the forge tool definition hooks, and mods "should" use them. But it's a hard thing to try to get someone to do, it's now a robust but backwards system (imho).

The BC quarry itself has always been this way, there was a mod by denoflionsx that added an advanced version but I'm not sure if it has been officially maintained to 1.7.10.

The transportation is super easy to get the hang of, most of the time for a simple alloy furnace setup, the first tier energy conduit works. Just connect the conduit from a generator to the alloy smelter. There are tutorials though, a quick youtube search would help with that.

I'm not sure if its installed or not for another mod in horizons, but you may want to check that you have aroma core as well. (Yes giving us more info that "it doesn't work" would be helpful).

I like there to be a balance of everything, something that is OP shouldn't be justified just by requiring a nether star or something. Using infrastructure can create a lot of gameplay as well, as long as it doesn't feel too grindy (but this is an ambiguous threshold). I like when mods have a...
