Those are my favorite trio of mods as well. The Fusion Reactor is a worthy goal, and you will have to touch upon most of the machines to get to it. Should be a fun time, and if your experience goes as mine did, there will be several spectacular setbacks along the way :)

You don't make it directly. You make all six ingredients and send them to the fractionator. It's very expensive, but fun to setup.

Toss in minechem. With enough dedication, you can make jet fuel from just water.

Intel HD gpu's are low end video chips. You may need to adjust your expectations. You can try adding fastcraft or optifine, and lower game video settings to see if that helps. For ram, don't allocate more than 4gb.

I have Rotartycraft, Electricraft, and Reactorcraft and a mix of other tech mods in my pack. No Chromecraft or Geostrata though. Consider making your own pack with all the mods you like. It's fun, and you end up with exactly what you want.

Just getting into proper use of EC, starting a rewire of the whole base. Going from a Jet-Fuel powered system to fission reactors -->HP Turbine. This was incredibly helpful. Time to go hunt for a source of brown dye. Then see if I can MineChem up more.
