I think that is Liquid XP and the spawner from MFR takes Mob Essence. You can convert them but I don't think it works straight.

Castles are known for being built from huge chunks of stone not little bricks anyway.

Just had what I think is a good idea because of this. use smooth stone for the walls of a castle but put smooth stone microblock covers over some so it looks like uneven blocks.

that still means that the two minecarts you get from the railcraft 5 steel recipe melts down into ten iron. and just checked and it does it may be nerfed in Hard Mode tho I don't play on it

then use that steel to make minecarts and then melt them back down for twice as much iron

hard mode is a toggle command and defaults to normal (nonhard) with the new version. just update your server and not toggle hard mode on

another reason for the use of the shortbow was it is easier maneuver it in a heavily forested/overgrown area. third reason being they were a lot easier to make/cheaper to buy.
