You can probably write a Computercraft program to check an intermediate inventory and pass each item along while counting it. Then simple math would tell you your average item throughput per hour.

Running Red: Help Venting and Discussion Thread!

Ah, so it has to be pumped? I tried it directly with a bucket, since that's the precedent set by TE's own dynamos and machines... and also by sacrificing some hearts over it. Oh well, at least it's now baptized? :P Since it has no GUI, is there any way to tell how much blood is held inside it...

Rotarycraft Fermenter - How can I control the temperature?

You don't even need a steam engine, a DC electric is more than enough for a fermenter and requires a lot less setup/infrastructure.

Running Red: Help Venting and Discussion Thread!

How do I operate a blood dynamo? The only source of documentation Google offers me is the official FTB wiki, which (as usual) I can't get to load either from home or from work.

Rotarycraft Fermenter - How can I control the temperature?

You can place an external heat source nearby, such as a fire burning on a block of netherrack (lava is likely too hot). Then you also need a cooling fin on top of the fermenter in order to keep it from overheating in turn.

    1. This information was already provided to you, if you think about it. 3. Quantum Suit is the most protective armor, because it renders you plain invulnerable as long as you have power left. The only thing that can hurt you while wearing a quantum suit is something that destroys the armor...

Point an import bus at the ender chest -> done :p Alternatively, use any form of item transport you want to pump the items from the ender chest into a ME interface that is connected to the storage network. Any item entering an interface is automatically sucked in as long as storage space is...

Make sure there are no other trees in range than those you want to pollinate. None whatsoever. And "in range" is fairly big - twice the radius in which flowers are spawned, or more. Yes, basic bees are fairly slow, even in bee houses (which get pollination bonuses). but it shouldn't only turn...

Redpower used to be able to do it, so perhaps one of the various replacement mods can.

    New laptop?

    Interesting, thanks for the info.

    New laptop?

Why would there be problems in 1.8? AMD CPUs struggle with singlecore speed compared to Intel, and 1.8 greatly improves threading performance-hungry things such as chunkloading and parallel dimensions. If anything, a weak CPU with multiple cores should see a noticable performance gain in 1.8...

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

How much effort do you want to invest? Do you want the best possible tree you can possibly breed just for the exercise of breeding it, or do you want to actually produce a lot of biomass right now and need a practical tree that can get you a large return without taking ages to implement? The...

Mod Feedback [By Request] RotaryCraft Suggestions

By the way: you can easily update Techworld 2 1.1.7 manually to v25z versions of Reika's mods just by removing the old v23 ones, downloading the new v25z ones, and adding the following line to \config\Reika\RotaryCraft.cfg in the achievement IDs section: I:DOUBLEKILL=24041

Make a Rotarycraft enderman grinder to get enderpearls to feed Railcraft chunkloaders. Voila, RoC-powered chunk loader! :P

The minimum torque for the speed stages is 1. In other words, if there is any torque at all, it runs, and if there is no torque, it doesn't run. However, due to the combination of minimum power and minimum speed requirements, the math gives you a torque greater than 1 if you meet the minimum...

Can you make either the spring-powered grafter or the bedrock grafter affect a single leaf block, or at least have an optional mode that affects a single leaf block? I have actually made both of them, and yet I still use Forestry's default bronze grafters instead because annihilating half the...

Whooops! Sorry, I completely ballsed up a unit conversion somewhere in my math. A single ethanol crystal is actually worth closer to 1,250 MJ / 12,500 RF when exporting the power back out. Derp. Still, the point remains that you get far, far less out of a converted Forestry ethanol bucket than...

The device to convert other mod biofuels is the liquid distillery. I'm using one in my current world to convert Forestry biofuel. One thing you really need to keep in mind in this is that you need to decide whether it's worth it to convert the stuff. Rotarycraft is very much a world of its own...
