[1.7.10] Wanderlust Reloaded - Questing Adventure [Magic-Tech] [HQM - over 250 Quests] [Tabula Rasa]

for mining worlds there's already mystcraft, the deep dark, and thaumic tinkerers mining dimension (albeit that one probably doesn't count). If you want a mining world right off the bat, make a mystcraft age via creative, that's what the forgecraft team did. Honestly, I'm not sure why people...

I downloaded 1.8, played for 2 seconds, realised I had no NEI, then went back to my modded world. ahh, mods. I also think the modding community is actually larger than people believe, it's just that most of it is silent.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

since enderIO is completely optional, and disabled by default, it doesn't make sense for there to be enderIO related quests.

FTB's .jar version works fine on linux, run that to get the server download link.

I haven't seen that in a long while, it could be I don't watch spotlights by people who do it, but the last time I saw anyone actively try and show all the recipes for the mods was before NEI was picking up steam, a long time ago. Recipes aren't the focus of mod spotlights, since NEI both makes...

I don't know, a wall of recipes, with no item names, no context, and no knowledge of the mod would be more confusing than helpful. impressive maybe, but confusing.

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

continuing from news thread: Since when was pressing 'r' or clicking on an item tedious? I'm sorry, but I still don't get it. So instead of going back to the item and pressing 'r', you want to exit the crafting table, dropping anything that got put in there, to look at the recipe on the wall...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

hm, forgot about that, such a pain in the backside that 'decision'. The 'fourth wall' got torn down and rebuilt into a machine/house/factory a long, long, long time ago in modded minecraft.

[1.7.10] Wanderlust Reloaded - Questing Adventure [Magic-Tech] [HQM - over 250 Quests] [Tabula Rasa]

I just want to put this out there, I vote please no for ganys. Ganys adds so much random clutter. One thing I like about this modpack is that it doesn't add every random small mod that adds one or two 'nifty' blocks, and over a dozen useless blocks/items. it's sorta interesting that people...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I think this would be great, except it'd probably work better as a computercraft peripheral, since the scripting language and stuff are already there and known.

I can't figure out what you're doing with the mod. Is it like signs with recipes? Forgive me but that doesn't seem particularly... useful? just my opinion, I don't get it. Edit: I feel like that (below) was a quip at me :p. It's not that I'm against such a mod, but I don't really get it, it...

they also work through blocks, so incase you thought you needed holes in your walls, you don't :). You can put the fans behind the walls.

[1.7.10] Wanderlust Reloaded - Questing Adventure [Magic-Tech] [HQM - over 250 Quests] [Tabula Rasa]

Sweet, I figured as much, but wanted to make sure. I don't mind a few balancing recipe changes, a couple extra bits & bobs, but major revamps are what I was concerned about, sounds like there are no major revamps :). I might check out the minetweaker files, but I'm pretty sure we'll just start...

[1.7.10] Wanderlust Reloaded - Questing Adventure [Magic-Tech] [HQM - over 250 Quests] [Tabula Rasa]

This pack looks really nice, It's more in line with the mods I like to play with (no galacticraft/recource hog, no metallurgy/wtf). Just the good stuff, yay :) Quick Question: How extensive are the recipe changes? I'm hoping to use the questing layout of the pack to help teach my mate modded...

iirc, yep. never encountered it in my own playthrough because I actively avoided it, but I remember funshine had to work around it.

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

It would be, if I could rotate the damn components of it. why should the drill/laser/IO be facing away from the assembly table/chest just because I wanted my setup on the other side of the room? so frustrating...

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

From what i can gather, the new system which enables custom models for blocks and such is formatted in such a long winded and ludicrous way that anyone adding lots and lots of slightly different blocks/models is going to be doing an insane amount of copy/pasting, not only for every block, but...

I looked over the code screenshots DMiller showed, it is truly ridiculous, even without knowing minecraft's specific code - I can see that. what...the...hell...were...they...thinking... Customisation works best when it stops before the customise-format grows larger than hardcoding the values in...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I suspect that has more to do with the multiblock nature of openblocks tanks rather than SFM's (if any) transfer rate limit. When anything grabs liquid from an openblocks tank, it grabs it from the one block it's connected to, the connected tanks then refill eachother - It's not actually all one...
