@UnionCraft not the right place to be reporting bugs. I'm sure the pack will be updated shortly. If you are looking for a stable pack for your servers I suggest sticking to release versions as, as you have found, beta updates can still have bugs.

Since vanilla switched to UUIDs to identify players there isn't a file you can just type player names in and have it just work anymore. You need to add ops via the console.

This has never not been the case. Mods and packs will always lag behind vanilla releases just by virtue of the amount of work that needs to be done first. There have been a couple of instances in the last 5 years or so where we have had a flagship pack released on the same version as the latest...

Yep. 1.10 -> 1.11 -> 1.12 were/are fairly straightforward updates for most mods.

The big changes we were expecting in 1.12 have been pushed back to 1.13. All signs are pointing to 1.12 being the next 'plateau' and devs should be looking to move to it as soon as Forge is ready.

@minewolfs you need a little more than 1GB of RAM for modern packs, even on the server. Also, try and keep the support questions to the support forum ;)

The problem with trying to debug your problem here is that none of the log files include a fatal crash/stacktrace, which implies that it's a system problem. Try updating graphics driver first, then Java and see if that helps

Looks related to island.json being incomplete/corrupted. Try renaming it to island.json_old (or something similar) and seeing if that helps. It lives in the /world directory now I think.
