@TheMiner1511 these issues have been addressed including the 1.6.4 java 8 u20 issues and java 8 on osx. If there are any outstanding java 8 exclusive issues i'd be happy to try to fix them.

if you have bugs with the launcher itself please file those on github or the support site.

try clicking the force update button in options before running the pack again

the latest version of java 8 doesn't work with forge at the moment, this is being worked on for 1.7.10 packs. regarding the permgen parameters, the java message is that the parameter is useless

Can you guys please click the pastebin button when these crashes occur and post the logs so we can try to fix them

I need full logs for these and java locations as previously stated. I unfortunately cannot do anything without this information

Java 8 is not supported on osx due to lwjgl stuff, and any fixes have not been vetted properly by Mojang, thus we cannot support java 8 on osx

i need to know where these java's are installed so i can try to fix this

once we finish with the download code overhaul in the next week or two we will be working on adding the setup for multiple copies of of pack's on the system
