I've not found that to be a problem.

How about if the AFP was before the laser, and catapulted the cow through it setting it on fire as it flew through?

Looks like "mid-game" to me, but only just. A bit more power, bigger smeltery & high oven & pressure chamber, and get the PC assembly line, and you're into proper mid-game. I'd push back the mobs to a further perimiter as well, and get a grinder hooked up to some kind of vanilla mob farm.

A "weak lever" would make a useful mod item! I think what SmokeLuvr1971 is saying is, put them on the ground in front of the receiver. Or, put the receiver in the floor - or on the wall one block below the levers - if you really want the levers on a wall. I've not had this problem myself but...

Too late, that isn't possible. If you died, and there was no clone ready, it's game over.

I use Block Detectors looking for ID 0 to govern the placement of blocks to be hammered, so the block gets placed instantly as soon as the last one breaks. I wish there was a kind of variable that stored item selections, so whitelists and blacklists could be re-used.

The production side is fairly sophisticated. I have my generators and dynamos feeding into a stack of 3 energy cells, each of which feeds energy up to the one above. The other side, the energy comes out to a line of machines and up into a tesseract which has a direct connection to the top energy...

Good grief, the Chunk Loader chews through power! 2 billion RF storage? And that power usage, is that per tick? And it's capped at 2 chunks radius? My base is fairly spread out, I really need 3 chunks radius, not that I can afford the power at this stage.

Yeah, I make my PCBs in batches of 60 and smelt dusts four stacks at a time, and those plus the Fluid Transposer are the main manual steps in my crafting these days.

I'm talking about block breaking with a hammer, I know sieving is about 3-4 times faster. It would be nice to be able to break cobble 3 times faster!

Oh wow. I'll have to have a go at that. Is it any faster than an Autonomous Activator?

So if you just output a hammer to a block gate, it hammers the bock in front of it? That seems unlikely to me, I expect it would click with the hammer once and then drop the item before the block breaks. Are you sure that works? Yeah I guessed that was the problem, as I made exactly that...

I don't think you can left click with SFM, or right click with a non-block item.

Yes, it'a a lot faster, but it needs to be placed one space away from the sieve. He says it's more expensive than his other design but I disagree, requiring less iron is a huge deal in this map. Also that video shows how to make a 1-tick clock, which is useful for other purposes, mostly builds...

OK ignore everything I said. You have plenty of redstone. Nonetheless, I don't like using it for fuel when there are more plentiful resources available (netherwart, sugar, gunpowder, mob essence, sunlight) - and a steady supply of mob essence will be useful for other things such as enchanting...

1.5 stacks? If you mean "stacks of redstone dust", that won't last long - if you mean stacks of redstone blocks, well, that's different, I have one stack of blocks which I consider to be a comfortable strategic reserve. 96 redstone though is, what, 15 PCBs? 3 or 4 Mk3 circuits? 45 Redstone...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

I just completely rebuilt and upgraded my SFM supersifter. I've now got 7 Autonomous Activators and 3 Sieves. Steve's Factory Manager automatically replaces the broken stone hammers in the activators by turning logs into planks and planks into sticks and sticks and cobble into hammers. The...

Build a mob farm, and burn Mob Essence and Gunpowder in a Reactant Dynamo or three. Then when you can make two Mk3 cards, add a couple of Potion Generators and automate the brewing of Splash Potions of Speed (Netherwart, Sugar, Gunpowder). I also have three Solar Generators, with a redstone...

Sorry, I'm on Windows so I just use this 2-line AutoIt script that runs after the launcher in a command script: #include <WinAPI.au3> winmove("Feed the Beast Launcher","",-1900,-500) I have no idea if there is any equivalent to AutoIt for Linux.
